Geoff has lived and been involved in the Cessnock Community for many years.  After a career in management, banking and finance, he retired from full-time work enabling him more time to contribute back to the local community in a number of roles.

With expertise and qualifications in business and marketing, Geoff enjoys interacting with others while making a positive impact on their environment and situation.

Geoff was honoured to be awarded “Citizen of The Year” for Cessnock in the 2019 Australia Day Awards.

Having a close alignment with the values of Northern Coalfields Community Care Association, Geoff was invited to join the Board in 2020. Since then, he has been involved in all aspects of strategic planning and implementation in order for the organisation to achieve both its vision and mission statements.
